No. Player Position Club College
80 Bri Cassidy
#80 - Bri Cassidy
C Corona Angels Nebraska
Brianna has all the attributes you want in a catcher: she has the physical tools including a 1.6 POP time and a great arm (threw out all eight baserunners attempting to steal in high school ball) and she's smart with a 4.8 GPA. On offense, she continues to get better each year and in 2014 used her quick, compact stroke to hit .556 and compile a .646 on-base percentage and 1.063 slugging percentage in the competitive Inland Empire region of Southern California.
79 Tessa Daniels
#79 - Tessa Daniels
P/IF East Cobb Bullets - Schnute Florida State
Tessa is a two-way standout who makes big plays in big moments in the circle and at the plate. She has helped lead her high school team to a 31-1 record, a region championship and the opportunity to win an eighth straight state title in Georgia. Confident and talented, Tessa helped her Atlanta Vipers team win the 2012 14U PGF Nationals, the first non-California team to win a PGF title. As a junior she was a 1st Team All-Region pick after hitting .465 with 44 RBI.
78 Hillary Edior
#78 - Hillary Edior
C/INF Firecrackers - Rico Arizona
Hillary is tall at 5-foot-11 and athletic enough to have been all-league in volleyball as well as earning 1st Team All-L.A. City Section after hitting .539 with 48 RBI and nine homers to give her a .590 on-base percentage and a 1.029 slugging percentage. As good as her bat is, her defensive skills may be better as she's a vocal leader who has a great arm, has excellent blocking abilities and all-around defensive skills. Hillary also has a 4.1 GPA.
77 Ebonee Echols
#77 - Ebonee Echols
IF/OF Atlanta Vipers - Loveless Michigan State
Ebonee is a three-sport star and has superior athletic abilities that translate across the board. She went to state in track and is a point guard in basketball where she earned All-County honors. Not surprisingly, her speed helped her hit .400 this fall and advance deep into the Georgia state softball playoffs. Coaches also love how she's a leader and sets the example for her teammates to follow in working hard.
76 Makayla Martin
#76 - Makayla Martin
P So Cal Athletcs - Quarles Auburn
Makayla had a huge summer capped off by leading her A's team to the PGF 16U National Championship including a nine strikeout effort in the 2-1 title game win. The 5-foot-11 San Diego senior went 5-0 with a 1.32 ERA during the week at PGF Nationals and had 38 strikeouts in 34 innings. Makayla throws in the mid 60's and has a heavy dropball as well as a change and screwball to keep batters off balance. She can also hit and has batted over .400 at the high school level, but her future in the SEC is as a pitcher.
75 Morgan Nelson
#75 - Morgan Nelson
MIF Birmingham Thunderbolts Northwestern
Morgan defines the term "student-athlete" unlike few others. She goes to a small prep school in Arizona where she has a weighted 4.4 GPA, a 1960 SAT and will be a Commended National Merit Scholar by the time she graduates with over 20 AP-level classes. She wants to study biomedical engineering and, once committed to Stanford, had offers from schools like Ole Miss, ASU, Maryland and Syracuse before she picked Northwestern in late October. Her school doesn't have a softball team but she's a phenomenal track athlete having won the state championship in the 100 meters and has turned down track scholarship offers. In softball she can play shortstop, catch or play any position with her smooth hands in the field and her power bat.
74 Ally Dickman
#74 - Ally Dickman
IF/OF OC Batbusters - Briggs Utah
Ally is following in the footsteps of older sister, Kate, a three-time Pac-12 All-Conference honoree at the Univ. of Utah. Ally will also play for the Utes and possesses many of the characteristics of her sister including speed, versatility to play several positions and excellent bat control. She hit .495 at the high school level this year and was a key component in leading her club team to a PGF 18U Platinum National Championship.
73 Katya Duvall
#73 - Katya Duvall
P So Cal Athletics - Richardson Ohio State
Katya came back from an ACL last fall to play throughout the summer after missing the 2014 high school season. She's been in the shadow of some great pitchers: Kaylee Carlson and Kaley Winegarner at her high school and Hayley Copeland and Selina Ta'amilo for her club team, but the 5-foot-9 pitcher is now ready to shine. She has really good movement on her pitches and throws really good spins in addition to a tough-to-hit riseball.
72 Bria Bush
#72 - Bria Bush
P East Cobb Bullets - Schnute Tennessee
Bria plays on the same high school powerhouse as No. 79 Tessa Daniels, Buford (Ga.) High, and has pitched the team to three straight state titles including almost every inning the last two championships. Last fall she was 18-1 with a 0.61 ERA and 109 K's in 102 2/3 innings. The Peach State senior throws in the mid 60Õs and has two out pitches: her riseball and change-up. Mix in great location and the ability to pinpoint around the plate and you have one of the top pitchers in the East.
71 Brianna Betschel
#71 - Brianna Betschel
OF Explosion - Morgan Ohio State
Brianna first made her national reputation two years ago when she stood out at the OnDeck West Coast National Elite Camp. She's an excellent slapper with great speed who creates confusion with her ability to slap or make contact and place the ball. Brianna hit .366 and .385 the last two years of high school ball to earn All-Century League and All-Orange Co. honors.
