You could make a strong case that, Taylor McQuillin, the 2015 pitcher from Mission Viejo, Calif., has had the most honored year in high school and club softball history!

How many players can you think of who have won—in the same year, mind you—a high school national championship, a club national championship and the Gatorade National Player of the Year Award?

This amazing trifecta was completed on August 2 when Taylor pitched the OC Batbusters-Haning team to a 3-0 win over the powerful Corona Angels in the PGF 18U Premier National Championship.
