#50... Brynne Fitzpatrick (P, San Jose Lady Sharks-Galindo)--Cal
Brynne led the Lady Sharks 16U team to a fifth place finish at the ASA Nationals last year and has battled back from an injury that forced her to miss part of last year's high school season. Still, hergreat work ethic and a tough riseball has led her to a 22-11 mark in her prep career with a 1.79 ERA. A workhorse who has completed 23 of the 26 games she's started, Brynne combines talent, a passionate drive to excel and intelligence (4.14 GPA) to be one of the top pitchers in the West.
#49... Madison Montgomery (SS, Texas Glory)--Oklahoma State
Madison or "Maddie Sue" has superb athletic ability--she can play all nine positions on the field and has an arm that is powerful and accurate. She has above average speed which gives her the ability to play the middle infield or outfield. At the plate she's a triple threat and is as likely to lay down a drag bunt successfully as she is to drive the ball into either gap or over the fence. In high school last year she hit .569 with 54 RBI with 54 runs scored and a .608 onbase percentage to be named the Texas District 8-4A Offensive Player of the Year.
#48... Katerria Moore (OF, Mid South Blue Angels)--Arkansas
Katerria or "Kat" is one of the top sleepers in the country. She's played at the Gold level since her freshman year and is a right-handed thrower who hits left-handed hitter. A great threat on offense, she can really swing the bat for average and power and projects as a rightfielder at Arkansas although she also plays catcher at the high school level. She led her Mississippi team to a 32-9-1 record and was selected to the state's I-A All-Tournament team.
#47... Carsyn Gordon (SS, Miami Stingrays)--Florida State
Carsyn helped lead her team to the 8A state title in 2013 and was subsequently named to 1st team All-State. The Miami junior can play shortstop or third and has all the tools including size, speed and good bat speed. A two-time All-Dade County pick, Carsyn also was a key force on the Stingrays' team that tied for seventh at the ASA Gold Championship held in Clearwater, Fla. last summer. She was also named a MaxPreps Freshman All-American in 2012 when she exploded onto the high school scene with a .571 batting average and 24 RBI.
#46... Kennedy Clark (OF, So Cal Athletics)--South Carolina
Kennedy is a natural left-hander who can hit for power and can also slap. She has above average speed and is very strong. Kennedy played on the OC Batbusters-Myers team that finished second at the PGF 16U Nationals where she hit .444 with a .545 onbase percentage. She's also an accomplished water polo player and has good softball sense as her father was a coach. Kennedy was second on the powerhouse A's in batting average this fall and knows how to win: she won national titles with the Batbusters in 2011 (PGF 14U Nationals) and with Teamsmith in 2008 (ASA 10U).
#45... Andrea Kindrick (P, Birmingham Thunderbolts)--Alabama
Andrea was the Gatorade Softball Player of the Year in Arkansas as she led her team to the Class 6A state title going 20-4 in the circle with a 0.16 ERA and an amazing 287 strikeouts in 135 games. She also tossed six perfect games and 13 shutouts. Andrea is a two-time 1st Team All-State honoree and also can do damage at the plate where she hit .475 with 29 RBI and an .847 slugging average. The righty hurler has good movement on her pitches and does a ton of service off the field including volunteering at an animal shelter and serving as a youth softball coach.
#44... Madi Bishop (3B/1B, Texas Glory)--Oregon
Madi is a game changer and if she sees a mistake pitch more often than not she will knock it out of the yard consistently. She's the first Pac-12 commit from the prestigious Texas Glory program and shows her passion and dedication to the team and the sport she loves by traveling eight hours one way to practice. Madi's defense is solid at the corner infield spots but it is her power to all fields that makes Arkansas 4A All-State selection such an elite player and scary competitor.
#43... Libby Sugg (C, Tennessee Fury)--BYU
Libby is an impact hitter who can beat you with power and clutch hitting and shut down the opposing offenses with her defense, particularly her arm. She because the first freshman ever in Tennessee's District 11-AAA to earn MVP honors when she hit .564 with a record 19 home runs and 58 RBI. As a sophomore, opposing teams intentionally walked Libby 27 times and she still hit .512 with 10 home runs. A great student with a 4.17 GPA, she was a 1st Team All-State pick after leading her team to a school record 25 wins and an appearance in the Regional Tournament for the first time in two decades.
#42... Ali Wester (OF, Firecrackers-Rico)--Notre Dame
Ali is the second of three talented softball player sisters and will join her older sister, Karly, at Notre Dame. Very smooth and athletic, she's a triple threat lefty who quietly gets the job done and will get three or four hits without notice. Ali hit .351 last year with 28 runs scored, 11 RBI and 20 steals and did well in big games including club ball where she finished off the PGF Nationals last summer going 4-for-6 with two RBI as the Firecrackers beat two talented teams in San Jose Sting and Jersey Intensity.
#41... Lily Mann (OF, Gold Coast Hurricanes)--Florida
Lily is the prototypical lefty-handed slapper with speed to set the table for hitters behind her and possesses the quickness and versatility to play any of the outfield positions. The 5-foot-9 junior played on the Hurricanes-DeFelice 16U team last summer and was on the Gold team in the fall. She hit .506 last year for her Central Florida high school team with 29 runs scored, 17 RBI and 15 steals. Her parents both went to Florida and the Gators were her dream school from the start.
