#90... Kylie Bass (P, East Cobb Bullets-Bass)--Georgia Southern
Few are as battle-tested as Kylie, who is so developed that calls her own pitches and game due to her abilities and great command of what she throws--she threw 169 innings last fall and only walked 14 (four intentional) while 75 percent of her pitches were strikes. Daughter of the head coach, she is tough as nails and super competitive. As a junior she was 25-3 and despite having the flu and a hamstring injury pitched three games in 48 hours in the state playoffs.
#89... Zoe Casas (OF, Corona Angels)--Florida State
Zoe can do it all--she can bunt slap, hit for power and hit for average as shown by her .663 average in high school last year after batting .684 as a freshman. She helped lead her team to a 26-2 mark last season with 63 hits including 11 doubles, eight triples, and two home runs. Zoe is also a perfect 36-for-36 in steals in high school. Defensively, she covers a lot of ground with her speed and is not afraid to lay out. She has a strong arm and understands the game well.
#88... Tara Trainer (P, Ohio Lasers Black)--Indiana
Tara exploded onto the Ohio high school softball scene as a freshman, striking out 178 batters in 112.1 innings while posting a 0.69 ERA and a 16-2 record. However, near-fatal car accident derailed her sophomore season and put her out of action for nine months before she returned late in the season and though less than 100 percent led her team to the state quarterfinals where she allowed only two hits and struck out 10 in a 1-0 loss. SheÍs back to full speed now, which means a combination of polish, control, speed and an understanding of how to pitch.
#87... Olivia Gray (SS/OF, Team Pennsylvania)--Pittsburgh
Olivia Gray has amazing range at shortstop and tracks the ball extremely well. She doesn't let anything get by her in the five and six hole and has become adept at throwing off her knees, which she improved by working at the beach 30 minutes a day last summer. At the plate, Olivia is a line-drive hitter with a lot of power due to her compact, muscular build. She was an all-state pick as a freshman when she hit .478 with six home runs and last year hit .554 with 23 RBI.
#86... Tamara Statman (P, Lil Saints)--Arizona
Tamara was named the Arizona Republic's Phoenix Area Pitcher of the Year and Player of the Year after she racked up 24 wins with 286 strikeouts in 187 innings and offensively hit .481 with 50 hits. A MaxPreps Sophomore All-American, she usually bats in the three spot and plays second base when not pitching. She is a good gap hitter with occasional bursts of power. A great all-around athlete, Tamara is also a blackbelt in the martial arts and plays on the varsity golf team.
#85... Regan Nash (OF, KC Monarchs)--Missouri
Regan may very well be the fastest player in the Hot 100. She was all-state in softball and track where she ran the 100 meters, 200 meters and 4x400 at state, finishing in the top eight in all three events. Not surprisingly, that speed translates to the basepaths and she's been clocked by college scouts at 2.4 home-to-first. She can hit with power and also lay down a bunt or slap in the hole. She runs the bases aggressively and covers a lot of ground in the outfield to make plays. Regan hit .527 over the summer for the Monarchs because she has great bat control and can bunt for base hits, but also possesses enough pop to go deep.
#84... Alex Voss (SS/P, Florida Power Black)--Florida
Alex is a lefty slapper and plays shortstop with a batting average that was .415 last summer. She has great speed, soft hands and a cannon arm clocked at 70 mph. She makes very difficult plays look routine and plays her best in big games. Alex is extremely athletic and can play anywhere on the field including pitcher--for her high school team she went 6-0. Her high school batting average was .519 with a .626 OBP and she had 32 stolen bases. Alex is also heavily involved in student government and sits on the council of the Florida state student council.
#83... Mari Cranek (OF, Sudden Impact Gold)--Alabama
Mari was so good at an early age that she committed to the Crimson Tide before playing her first high school game. A prototypical leadoff hitter with speed who sets the table, she has played shortstop but is now entrenched as one of the top outfielders in the nation. She hit .470 for her Texas high school as a freshman and had another strong sophomore season as she won All-District 23-5A honors.
#82... Rhianna Rich (SS/2B, Cal Cruisers-Sievers)--uncommitted
Rhianna was being heavily recruited her sophomore season when she tore her ACL. Back as good as ever, she's now being sought after by several top D1 programs as well as Ivy League schools. Rhi is a contact hitter with excellent speed and can bunt, slap, power slap and swing away which really makes her dangerous. She led the Cal Cruisers-Sievers in batting average her freshman year and last season in high school hit .456 with 17 RBI to earn Daily Breeze All-Area honors. Defensively, she has great hands and range.
#81... Mallory Baker (C, Indiana Magic Gold)--Purdue
Mallory came into her own last summer while batting .500 and hitting two home runs at the PGF Nationals in Huntington Beach. Her bat speed and strong arm behind the plate make her a Big Ten caliber player. A vocal leader, she is a fierce competitor and will not back down from a challenge. An All-Conference picker for her Indiana high school, she's a standout catcher who is athletic enough to play other positions including first and the outfield.
