Throwback Thursday: Batbusters' Mike Stith Talks Training
For this week's Throwback Thursday, we're talking with the head of the OC Batbusters organization Mike Stith. Stith is one of the top club coaches in the country, having won multiple national championships in different age divisions in his Batbusters organization.

Most recently, the OC Batbusters 18U and 14U teams won the 2015 PGF Premier National Championships. He and his Batbusters organization have produced a countless number division one signees, including 2015 Hot 100 No. 1 player Amanda Lorenz and 2016 Hot 100 No. 1 player Maria Lopez.

In this video interview, Stith talks about his training facility in Anaheim, California and how coaches need to focus more on developing and teaching players, and less on winning.

You can catch some of Stith's talented teams and players this weekend at the PGF Ultimate Challenge. FloSoftball will be streaming the tournament LIVE.

Mike Stith, who spearheads the OC Batbuster organization nationwide and helps lead the powerhouse OC Batbuster Haning/Stith team, is one of the top club coaches in fastpitch softball today and has won national titles at several levels including the 2014 PGF 18U Premier National Championship.

I had a chance to catch up with Mike on Friday at his Sports Training Complex facility in Anaheim, California and hear his ideas on training players, not just to win in the short-term, but to develop their skills so they learn the fundamentals properly and will be better prepared to play early in college.

Check out this clip and hear his approach which is helping Batbuster players play early at prestigious programs like Arizona, Florida and Oklahoma…
