A California youth softball coach was charged last week with molesting two young girls and now the Orange County district attorney is seeking additional victims.

Glen Thomas Kauffman, 53, was charged last Thursday with two felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts on a child under the age of 14, according to a release sent out by the Orange County district attorney's office reported by the Los Angeles Times. The alleged crimes were committed on or about August 24 and Kauffman was arrested three days after.

Kauffman is a youth softball coach in Laguna Niguel, California, and on the board of directors at the University of California, Irvine, per the district attorney's office. On Monday, the DA's office announced it was seeking additional victims. Anyone with information is being encouraged to contact supervising investigator Eric Wiseman at 714-347-8794.

"At the time of the crimes, Kauffman is accused of being in a position of trust with access to minors as a Laguna Niguel girls softball coach," the DA's release stated.

The Orange County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating the case. If convicted on the two felony counts, Kauffman is facing a life sentence.

Per inmate records, Kauffman is currently in custody at Orange County's Intake Release Center in Santa Ana. He is being held on $1,000,000 bond. His next court date is scheduled to be Monday.
