Last year when we released the Hot 100, we saw 69 Hot 100 players listed as uncommitted. That number has dwindled down to 33 uncommitted players the second time around.

California dominated the Hot 100 with 39 athletes, but Georgia was not far behind with 25 players listed.

Despite only two pitchers making the top 10, 45 slingers total make the Hot 100. The remaining players are 22 outfielders and 20 shortstops.

Out of the 51 clubs represented, the Batbusters recorded the most Hot 100 players (9) followed by the Beverly Bandits, Birmingham Thunderbolts, and Georgia Impact in a three-way tie with five recruits apiece.

Oklahoma and LSU accumulated the most Hot 100 players with each school listing six players. But the Sooners have the No. 1 recruiting class with No. 1 Jayda Coleman, No. 4 Zaida Puni, No. 6 Tiare Jennings, No. 7 Nicole May, and No. 29 Paige Knight.

Based on our list, the SEC has a stranglehold on recruiting with 10 of its schools ranked in the top 15 for recruiting classes followed by the Big 12 and Pac 12.

The Sooners seem to be building quite the dynasty with the No. 1 player in the 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 class.
