Last year in the 18U Division, the NW Bullets took home the hardware at Nationals. This year will come down to who has the best pitching staff, defense, and timely hitting.

On paper, Firecrackers Rico have the best pitching staff with Melanie Olmos (Oklahoma), Lauren Rice (Mizzou), Brooke Vestal (Oklahoma), and Alex Perez (Cal). What will be most important for this team is not how they start games. It will be how they finish. Their roster is filled with future All-Americans. The question will be can they put all the pieces together at the right time.

2016 Hot 100 No. 4 recruit Maggie Balint will have the ball in the circle, but will that be enough for PA Chaos to make it all the way to the last game on Friday?

FloSoftball will LIVE stream Fields 12-15 from July 14-17. For more details click HERE

What to Watch for at TC/USA Nationals

Who: No. 5 Firecrackers Rico
Why: The Firecrackers look to rebound after the Colorado Sparkler loss to AZ Firecrackers Hinkle. They tied for 3rd at PGF and 5th at TC/USA Nationals last year. Alexis Allan (Michigan) will be the big bat in their lineup. Miss Softball California CC Bates (Washington). The Firecrackers have the star power in the circle with Oklahoma-bound Melanie Olmos, Lauren Rice (Missouri), and Brooke Vestal (Oklahoma).

Who: No. 8 PA Chaos
The Chaos will rely heavily on Oregon-bound pitcher Maggie Balint, Gatorade Player of the Year in Pennsylvania and a three-time State POY.  Also on the team is Pitt-bound outfielder Hannah Edwards ranked in the Hot 100. Serenity Stewart (Illinois) and Cayla Abadie (St. Joseph's) bring serious pop to their lineup.

Who: No. 13 EC Bullets Schnute
Why: Greg Schnute adds major power to their lineup picking up Alabama-bound Bailey Hemphill to compliment the speed of Nikki Dawson (LSU). The pitching staff will ride the arm of Parker Conrad (Missouri). The Bullets offense will be the toughest lineup to throw to in this tournament.

Who: No. 14 Texas Blaze Slimp
Why: Few, if any team, traveled with a more passionate, vocal and electric crowd than the Blaze team that finished 2nd at Boulder IDT and the USA Softball JO Cup. From the organization that produced Blair Luna and Taylor Thom, there's a solid core of talent returning including catcher Taylor Ellsworth (Texas) and infielder Chelsea Seggern (Tennessee). Do not be surprised to see this team in the last game on Friday. They are primed for a Championship.

Who: No. 16 Texas Sudden Impact Dutton
Why: The Impact did not win this year's Colorado Sparkler. Don't sleep on this team. Shelby McGlaun (Baylor) and Trystan Melancon (Houston) are the horses in the circle. Last year, they finished 5th at the JO Cup and 9th at TC/USA Nationals and have been solid for several years now.
