A century is a long time. Good thing the Pac-12 has enough talent to fill it out.

The Pac-12 Sports Report (http://pac-12.com/article/2016/04/26/pac-12-sports-report-announces-all-century-softball-squad) announced its All-Century Team for the conference Tuesday night. The squad was voted on by a panel of 35 people, including coaches, players, media members and school administrators. Only accomplishments made during their collegiate careers were considered while voting.

nullUCLA's Lisa Fernandez took home the Player of the Century honor (no surprise there) and Arizona head man Mike Candrea was named Coach of the Century.

Fernandez was a four-time All American and four-time winner of the Honda Award. She led UCLA to two national titles, in 1990 and 1992. Candrea, who is in his 31st year at Arizona, has guided the Wildcats to an incredible eight national championships. Arizona has only missed six Women's College World Series appearances in the last 27 seasons under Candrea.

Other notable names on the team were Jennie Finch and Jessica Mendoza. Finch, a pitcher out of Arizona, is one of the most famous names ever in softball. She was a two-time Honda winner in college and also owns the record for most wins in a season (32) without a loss. Mendoza, now known as a top ESPN analyst for baseball, owns just about every record there is to own at Stanford University and the outfielder helped the Cardinal advance to its first Women's College World Series ever in 2001.
