Fifty to 60 college coaches traveled Mt. SAC to attend OnDeck's West Coast Elite Camp, hosted by Derek and Joann Allister, in Walnut, California, on October 15-16. The talent was exceptional this year with hitters in all classes going yard. Derek Allister reported on the top performers from West Coast Elite Camp.

Best of 2018s

2018 C/3B Caitlyn Koenig C/3B (Corona Angels Howard) -- Koenig had a superb event. She has the size, strength, and athleticism that coaches covet. She smoked a few offensively and will be a power hitter who hits in the middle of the lineup at the next level. She's good with the glove at 3B and a very solid receiver.

2018 Mikayla Santa Cruz P (AZ Cats) -- Cruz is a competitive athlete who can dial it up to 64/65 on the radar gun. She's not real big but has the heart and character that project success at the next level. She has won some big games for the AZ Cats over the past several years. Without a doubt, Cruz is one of the better 2018 pitching prospects still available.

Best of 2019s

2019 Alanna Barraza SS (SoCal Athletics McNee) -- Barraza is coming off an injury that sidelined her for most of the past year. She showed superb athleticism, good glove skills, and strength at the plate. Barazza exploded on the recruiting scene a year ago and proved she has the talent to play Division I.

2019 Bradianne Glover OF/SS (Sorcerers) -- Glover is an outstanding athlete who came away with the highest Athletic Index in the Elite Camp. The lefty slapper has the legit speed needed to slap and can swing away, too. She's a solid defender both in the outfield and on the dirt. She will be a major hitter at the next level.

Best of 2020s

2020 Morgan Smith P/OF (OC Batbusters Campbell) -- Smith was ranked No. 13 in the Hot 100 2020 class. She is one of the strongest pitchers in her class, hitting 66 mph easily with a nice drop and a nasty change-up. Smith can also swing the bat. She has the potential to be a pitcher who hits at the next level. Most elite schools in the country will be on her recruiting trail.

2020 Violet Zavodnik OF (American Pastime) -- Outfielder Zavodnik is no longer underrated and flying under the radar. She first burst upon the scene at the Colorado National Jamboree this summer. Fast and athletic -- she can run, throw, hit for average and for power. She is one of the top outfield prospects on the West Coast in this class.

null

2020 Ashley Donaldson C/OF (San Jose Sting Perales) -- Donaldson is a top catching prospect with strong pop times hovering around 1.7. She recorded one pop time at 1.69, which we simply do not see very often. Catcher isn't her only position; she has the versatility to play outfield. Donaldson is a solid hitter who will hit for a high average. Hands down, one of the best true catching prospects in her class.

Best of 2021s

2021 Cydney Sanders SS/3B (Corona Angels 14U) -- Sanders is a gifted athlete who will hit for power in the middle of some major college lineup five years from now. She is one of the best players in the country. She possesses very good defensive skills that complement her power at the plate. Sanders fits right in with the long line of strong and athletic infielders from the Angels organization who can simply hit.

2021 Rylee Holtorf 2B/SS (AZ Storm 14U) -- Holtorf is one of the best young players in the state of Arizona and on the entire West Coast. Oozing with potential both offensively and defensively, she is a playmaker with unbelievable range in the infield. She is a sound hitter who will ultimately hit for both power and average. She is projected to be highly recruited by the Power 5.

2021 Paige Sinicki SS/2B (Silver State Punishers) -- Sinicki turned heads on both Thursday and Friday with an athleticism, skill set, and intensity that was impossible to miss. Coaches were buzzing about her both days. Quick and strong, she has instincts for the game that are unusual in one so young. She is a surprising talent from Nevada who now will be on many college lists.

Best of 2022s

2022 Jocelyn Erickson C/1B (AZ Storm 14U) -- Erikson is an impressive young player from Arizona who can do it all -- hit, throw, run, and defend. She is incredibly sophisticated for her age. She displays a softball IQ and will be a national-level recruit.

2022 Jordan Woolery SS/3B (Lady Magic 14U) -- Woolery is a high-level talent with great size and athleticism. Her talent was proof that she can play at the highest levels in the future. She can really do it all and will only get better in the years ahead. Woolery is expected to be one of the top recruits in the next two years.

2022 Kaila Pollard SS/2B (OC Batbusters Flores) -- Pollard is a great offensive talent from the Batbuster organization. She has a chance to be one of the West Coast's best in this class.
