Taylon Snow's Signing Day Spotlight

The No.5 2017 Hot 100 infielder Taylon Snow had a big year announcing that she was joining her sister Tannon at Auburn University. Last season, she hit in the 3-hole and hit away to help drive in runs. She had a career high in home runs (9) and slugging percentage (.848). Snow lets FloSoftball into her Signing Day plans.

Did you ever think this day--signing with your dream school--would come?
I never thought this day would come, but it certainly came really fast and it's so surreal.

Where will you be signing your Letter of Intent this week? I will be signing my letter of intent at my house and then we will also have a ceremony at my school.

nullWill it be a big occasion or more low-key? It will be more low key besides the ceremony at my school.

Will you do anything to celebrate the big day? The morning of I will have my friends that are also signing along with me over for breakfast and then just dinner with my family later.

What date did you actually commit and how long ago was it? I committed June 22, 2016. It wasn't too long ago because I decided to change where I was going to school.

What highlight stands out to you about the recruiting process? The coaches at Auburn. They treat you like family and it made me feel so welcomed.

What was the "aha" moment when you knew the program was the right one for you? I have had a relationship with the coaching staff since I was in eighth grade and When I saw how fast they were developing the program it was so exciting to watch and that's when I realized I wanted to be part of a program that was motivated to be the best.

What will signing with your dream school mean to you personally and to those who've been part of your success (family, coaches, teammates, etc.)? Personally signing just makes me so happy, from all the hard work I have put into softball and in the classroom to know it got me somewhere and most importantly the school of my dreams makes me proud. I can't thank my parents enough for everything they have done for me throughout this process I wouldn't be here without them.

How much gear/product do you have of your future school? I don't have that much stuff yet because I just committed a few months ago but every time I go out to auburn we are always stopping at the student stores.

What's next for you and your softball plans? My plans are to enjoy my last year of travel and high school ball and just go out finishing strong.-
