Rising Star: 2019 Felise Collins Can Crush, Run
Before lacing up her cleats, Felise Collins was a gymnast. Soon after her parents signed her up for the local softball league, Collins fell in love with softball and left gymnastics behind.

Georgia's East Cobb Bullets Biele added Collins to their roster this fall. The team's coach, Andrew Biele, was amazed with Collins' balance of power, speed, and versatility.

"She is a beast, a rare gem," Biele said.

Competitiveness runs in the Collins family. Her father, Calvin Collins, was an offensive lineman for Texas A&M and continued his career in the NFL playing for the Atlanta Falcons and Minnesota Vikings.

Felise is now 5-foot-9 and has the ability to play all over the field. She enjoys hitting home runs and making plays.

"Centerfield is so great, because you have that range and you're involved in almost every play in the outfield," Collins said.

Since joining the Bullets, Collins has been receiving attention from Power Five programs and will attend at least two camps this fall.
