Georgia
nullBritton Rogers 2020 RHP, daughter of former Southern Miss player Courtney Blades committed to the University of Georgia last night. Britton comes to Firecrackers-Sewell from the Florida Storm where she helped make them a powerhouse team in Florida. Britton had visits set up with Georgia,  LSU, Arkansas, and Baylor this fall.  Britton is the prototype for an Power conference Pitcher. Britton is 5-foot-9 and has reached speeds up to 64mph. She is the premier RHP in the Southeast and will help lead our Firecrackers-Sewell team to a PGF National Championship. Look for more on Rogers this week. 

Georgia was my top choice and I just knew it was the place for me. I love the coaches and they how they are always competitive and I like that. I also used to live in Georgia until I was 10 and grew up a fan.

California
Two players from the Universal Fastpitch organization committed in the last two weeks. 2019 C/3B commits to Saint Mary's College this week.

 2020 2B/OF Mia Perez verbaled to Cal Poly San Luis Obisbo last week. We expect more verbals from Universal this month.

nullSophomore, class of 2019, Gilroy High School Softball Player Tina Chavez verbally committed to play softball at Fresno State Univ. today.  Tina plays first base for the California Suncats travel Organization out of Gilroy CA. This commitment represents the 13th 2019 commitment stemming from the California Suncats team. 



Mississippi 
Kylie Taylor, a 2020 southpaw from Ocean Springs, Mississippi verbally committed to the University of Missouri. Taylor had multiple offers but ultimately felt that Mizzou was home. "Coach Earleywine and his staff are second to none."

Texas 
nullPatience paid off for Lindsay Gilbert. The 2018 grad landed in Waco, Texas committing to Baylor University as a junior. Gilbert is All-State in athletics and academics. She plans to go to medical school at Baylor. Will we see Gilbert's name in next week's Hot 100 2018 ranking? Stay tuned.

Missouri
Jordan Weber worked though a severe illness this summer. She eventually overcame that illness  to finish strong. After considering a number of offers, she decided to verbally commit to the University of Missouri.

Impact Gold Mata is making lots of noise in the great state of Texas. This fall they were 31-1-1 beating Corona Angels Perez, So Cal Athletics Briggs, Impact Gold DFW, Sudden Impact. Coach Cheyenne Mata raved about her team.

The University of Houston committed the 2021 third baseman. Thomas is rumored to run a 2.55 from Home to first.

Raelin Chaffin
She is easily the best 2021 pitcher in the southeast , if not the country. While a lot of those 2021 players were playing 12U last year she was dominating 14U. Her ERA was below 1 last season leading our team to a top 13 finish with majority 7th graders.

Kelsey Bunch
Bunch brings power and a pop time of 1.79.

Caroline Eason
She is coaches dream, hardworking middle infielder that has a cannon arm.

Madyson Blake
Mata says she is one of the best left-handed pitchers in her class. Throws in mid to upper 50s but has full control of the spin game. The perfect complimentary pitcher to any flame thrower.

Megan Lee
Lee is a hard throwing right hand pitcher that has reached speeds up to 62 mph.

Dariane Cram
Cram is a hardworking slapper that plays in the outfield. She runs 2.65 and has great control of all facets of the slapping game, with tremendous power.

Kennedy Reynolds
Reynolds is a hard hitting first baseman / outfielder with great power. She also has above average speed for a power hitter running 2.9.

Mya Holmes
Holmes is a freak athlete. She plays outfield with an unbelievable arm and hits for power from the right side.

Turiya Coleman
Coleman is a great athlete and can play any position on the field from shortstop to second but her primary is catcher. Arguable the best 2021 catcher in Texas. She has a freakish 1.72 pop time and is is a slapper who can hit with power and speed running a 2.7.

Ryleigh Mata
Mata is one of the most versatile players in her class. She can play anywhere on the field; Ryleigh played shortstop at PGF last season. She is a slapper that can hit for power and runs a 2.65.
