Warning: Headfirst Slide Gone Wrong
A college softball player went full "scorpion pose" in a game Tuesday and, well, that certainly was not the intention.

Erskine College's Baylee Browning attempted to slide headfirst into first base in the second inning of a Division II game against Carson-Newman. It did not quite work out the way it was supposed to, as you can see here in this Deadspin video.

Browning's head did indeed come first, only to be followed by her feet. We're not sure if humans are supposed to bend in that manner by accident.

She is clearly heels over head for softball. Isn't that how the saying goes?

Maybe Browning was just trying out something she learned in yoga class? Perhaps that's part of Erskine's strength and conditioning program? We're just trying to give her the benefit of the doubt here.

The good news is Erskine won the second game of the doubleheader, 8-2, after falling to Carson-Newman, 10-2, in the opener.

And Browning was a good sport about the whole thing, retweeting funny comments and articles about her slide.
