Summer club competition is just around the corner and FloSoftball is starting to look at big events coming up soon.



We'll also be looking at top players and teams prior to hitting the summer tour and one organization that will be forefront in all these categories is the Beverly Bandits, based in Chicago and led by Bill Conroy.

In our FAB 50 14U rankings coming out next week, you'll see a pair of Bandits teams that will be featured prominently in the rankings. 



And when it comes to Hot 100 players, the Bandits are always well represented including producing two No. 1 overall players: Jenna Lilley, the Oregon standout who is a member of the USA Softball National Team and was the top pick for the 2014 Hot 100 and current Duck teammate Miranda Elish, a freshman who topped the 2016 Hot 100 list. 

Elish, who has an 8-0 record and 1.35 ERA helping Oregon start the season 35-0 as of today, pitched the Bandits to a PGF 16U National Championship in 2013. Last summer, future college stars like pitchers Meghan Beaubien (Michigan) and Sydney Supple (Northwestern) helped the Midwest club team capture another PGF 16U title.

Since FloSoftball started tracking verbals and signings in the Class of 2014, the Bandits have seen more than 120 players go to every major conference in the college ranks-- from the University of Alabama (All-American junior pitcher Montana Fouts who hails from West Virginia) to the University of Washington (current Husky hurler Taran Alvelo, an Ohio native).

The organization is also impressively stacked with talent from 18U down to the younger ranks and is drawing players now from states all over the Midwest, East Coast and even the South now. 

Truly the Bandits are "on fire" as this video produced by the organization shows and will be a force to be reckoned with this summer at all age divisions as it shoots to add to its impressive resume of ASA and PGF Nationals championships.
