As high school softball state championship have--or are--wrapping up across the country for the spring (some like Georgia, Missouri and Oklahoma crown their champions in the fall), it's time to start thinking about outstanding individual performances...and honor those excellent enough to be deemed FloSoftball All-Americans!

In June, we'll began our position-by-position unveiling of those prep standouts who dominated and excelled at the high school level with the following schedule or honors:

• Wed., June 21 - FloSoftball 1st Team All-Americans (Pitchers)
• Thu., June 22 - FloSoftball 1st Team All-Americans (Catchers)
• Fri., June 23 - FloSoftball 1st Team All-Americans (Infielders)
• Sat., June 24 - FloSoftball 1st Team All-Americans (Outfielders)
• Sun., June 25 - FloSoftball 1st Team All-Americans (Multi-Purpose)
• Mon., June 26 - FloSoftball High School Player of the Year
• Tue., June 27 - FloSoftball 2nd Team All-Americans
  
• Wed., June 28 - FloSoftball High School Coach of the Year

Our list is the deepest and most thorough you'll find as we feel it necessary to honor everyone who has earned the right to be considered part of the FloSoftball All-American team!

The criteria for selection includes a combination of all the following factors:

• Performance on the field
• Overall contribution to the team's success
• Talent and skills (athletic and softball-specific)
• Off the field success (academic, community, charity, etc.)

To nominate your favorite player and/or coach, email information such as individual stats, honors, accomplishments, team success, and anything from the above list that helps support the nomination.

For players, be sure to include the athlete's full name, school, city, state, grad year and position(s). Feel free to also submit photos, especially quality on-field shots!
