Monica Abbott: Million Dollar Arm (Episode 1)
Monica Abbott was nearly perfect with the first no hitter in the history of the Scrap Yard Dawgs program. She threw 18 strikeouts and hit one player with a pitch. This was Abbott's fourth no hitter in her professional career.

The Dawgs came out swinging in the top of the first, scoring two runs off a bases-loaded single from Britt Vonk.

A solo shot by Brittany Cervantes in the third extended the Dawgs lead to three.

After a leadoff base hit from Allexis Bennett, a single up the middle from Cervantes advanced Bennett to third. A sac fly to left from Taylor Edwards scored Bennett making it 4-0.

Another leadoff base hit from Bennett and a walk drawn by Nerissa Myers gave the Dawgs two runners on in the top of the seventh. Cervantes hit into a fielder's choice catching Myers at second putting runners on first and third with Edwards up.

Edwards hit another sac fly, this time in right field foul territory, to score Bennett from third.

With three more strikeouts Abbott ended the game in style.
