We continue our 2020 Hot 100 identifying top talent in the class of 2020. We will reveal the Hot 100 prospects over the next two weeks, spotlighting 10 or more outstanding players each day on the way through our countdown from 100 to No. 1.

This list is an updated version of our initial 2020 Hot 100 rankings and over 40 percent of the players are new additions!

We'll announce the top 10 of the class on Friday, September 29, and shortly after will profile the No. 1 player and then list the "next in" classes comprising recruits 101-200, 201-300, 301-400, and 401-500 as well as which colleges have done the best so far in recruiting this outstanding group of players!

FloSoftball has ranked the Hot 100 beginning with the 2014 class and has done every grad year since including 2015, '16, '17, '18, '19, '20 (the first list exactly a year ago), and '21. We've also updated most of those years several times.

null90 | Shannyn Bustamante, P | Athletics - Mercado (Loyola Marymount)
Shannyn doesn't carry your typical pitcher's "frame" but don't let her petite size fool you -- she can throw! With speed in the 60s and arguably one of the best rise balls in her class, Shannyn was able to lead a very strong Athletics Mercado-Smith team to success in the 2017 season. In her freshman season at Temecula Valley High School, Shannyn was only one of only three freshmen to earn Southwestern League Honors and has made her commitment to Loyola Marymount University.

null89 | Jordyn Hutchins, P/UT | Universal Fastpitch (Stanford)
Jordyn, also known as "Jojo" or "Lefty," has arguably one of the best swings from the left-side in her 2020 class. For her team, Universal Fastpitch, Jordyn batted an impressive .364 against some of the best pitchers in the nation at PGF 14U Premier Nationals. She is a true competitor who not only swings a big stick but is also an impact player on defense both in the circle with her knee-buckling change up and in center field with elite level arm strength. Jordyn had interest from several big name conferences before settling on her future at Stanford.

null88 | Cayla Bishop, MIF | East Cobb Bullets - Caldwell (Georgia)
Cayla is an extremely athletic player who can 'wow' you with her defensive skills and then turn around and get the game-winning hit. During her freshman season at Lamar County High School, Cayla showed her versatility and speed at the plate by putting up a .495 batting average with a .564 on base percentage, 26 RBIs, and 44 runs scored. This performance was good enough to earn region player of the year and all-state honors. Cayla's stock led to many Power 5 Conference schools pursuing her before she committed to the Bulldogs in September of 2017.

null88 | Taylor Heckman, OF | Beverly Bandits - Dorsey (Ohio State)
Versatile and athletic, Taylor is one of those players you can put anywhere on the field. Her outstanding speed and strong arm allow her to cover a lot of ground both in the outfield and middle infield positions. She is an ideal leadoff hitter who has the potential to cause havoc on the defense. From the left side she can drop a bunt at any time but will also drive it past you if you don't respect her power. Earning many honors her freshman year, including first team all-advocate, the Utica High School sophomore will look forward to continuing her career close to home as she will attend Ohio State University.

null87 | Jenna Bradley, P | Rhode Island Thunder (uncommitted)
Jenna is a strong, lengthy 6-foot-1 pitcher who commands the zone and can throw to all sides of the plate. She'll paint the corners with her low 60s curve and screw but has an excellent changeup to complement the speed. Thought by many to be far from her full potential at this point, Jenna has the work ethic and drive that will continue to attract looks from coaches this upcoming year as her and the Rhode Island Thunder look to play in major showcase tournaments including D9 and the Boulder Independence Day Tournament.

nullT-86 | Payton Kinney, P | Tampa Mustangs - TJ (uncommitted)
Payton emerged this summer as a high DI prospect after strong performances at the DeMarini Invitational and PGF Nationals. She was the ace of the Mustangs, which were the FloSoftball preseason No. 3-ranked team, going 21-1 with 122 strikeouts in 136 innings with a 1.45 ERA. The Florida sophomore was 5-1 at PGF with only one loss in bracket play. Payton throws in the 60-63 mph range with a strong riseball and dropball and spots her fastball well while having excellent command of her changeup. Several of her wins this summer came against FloSoftball-ranked teams at the 14U, 16U, and 18U levels. Payton has four offers pending and has many schools across the nation pursuing her.

T-86 | Aaliyah White, OF/SS | Atlanta Vipers - Holbrook (uncommitted)null
White is the leadoff batter that all coaches dream of. With a 2.6 home-to-firt time, the slapper is a hard one to get out. In 179 plate appearances last season, White had a batting average of .400, a .427 on base percentage and 31 stolen bases. The all-around athlete plays centerfield, left field and shortstop for the Vipers and can slap, drag bunt or hit for power. White currently has multiple SEC offers on the table.

null85 | Lindsey Hendrix, P | Firecrackers Sewell (Syracuse)
Lindsey, a Syracuse commit and known as the red-headed lefty, is a dominate lefty pitcher who tops out at 63 mph and has one of the dirtiest flip changeups in the country. She commands her pitches very well and she can maneuver her curve in to a righty or a screw in to a lefty. Lindsey received a lot of interest from SEC and ACC schools before choosing Syracuse. She posted a 1.35 ERA over 156 innings, striking out 171 batters and only allowing 19 walks. Some coaches are saying she is considered to be one of, if not the top lefty in the southeast, and definitely one of the top lefties in the country.

nullT-84 | Michaela Jones, SS/UT | Birmingham Thunderbolts - Dorsett/Burt (Maryland)
Michaela has the skills to start at shortstop at the club level and catcher for her Indiana high school, which ended ranked 26th in the nation by one poll after winning a state championship. She was late to the national recruiting scene, but became highly coveted after her first appearance at PGF Nationals in 2016. Her primary asset is her athleticism, which allows her to play at an elite level all over the field. Michaela hit .406 with seven home runs and 15 doubles, including one in the state title game, and compiled a .993 fielding percentage with only error all season. At the club level she batted .430 with five home runs in a shortened summer season due to her extended high school championship run. Michaela also help the Bolts win the Colorado Sparkler 16U Elite division. She committed to Maryland in October of 2016.

T-84 | Brinkley Yevak, P | EC Bullets - Byars (uncommitted)null
Brinkley Yevak has proven over the years to be one of the most powerful pitchers in the country. Standing 6-feet tall, she has all the tools to be the next Paige Lowary. Brinkley consistently hits 65 and her instructor says the sky is the limit. As a pitcher, Brinkley is the full package, a flame thrower that will keep you off balance. She is also a powerful hitter that hits for a great average. She is currently drawing major attention from schools all over the southeast.

null83 | Gracie Price, C/1B | Birmingham Thunderbolts 02 (Central Florida)
Gracie is a big, strong catcher who has been a varsity starter on her high school team since her 7th grade year when she hit .475. She then helped her Sunshine State high school finish second in the state as she batted .495 with 10 home runs. This summer she batted .429 with 11 home runs with the Bolts, with whom she's played for the last three years. She was drawing recruiting interest from ACC and SEC schools before she decided to stay in-state and commit to UCF in the last year.

null82 | Raigan Barrett, SS/3B | Corona Angels - Tyson (Washington)
Raigan had a big year at the high school level where she earned all-area honors and at the club level where she hit .520 with a .260 on-base percentage. She's a two-way threat who hits for power at the plate while having the fluid moves and excellent glove to play anywhere in the infield. An excellent athlete who is a top point guard on the hard-court, Raigan is aggressive on the field and makes big plays with her bat and glove. She committed to the Huskies in August of 2016.

null81 | Rylie Costa, 3B | LTG Lions (uncommitted)
Rylie has emerged as one of the top players in the West after hitting fifth on her NorCal club team and showing she comes up clutch in big situations. A strong hitter who can go to all fields, Rylie is also a standout defensively who can make the highlight-reel player, be it bare-handing a ball down the line on a bunt or catching balls up against the fence. Coaches have commented on her high softball IQ which has led to her receiving significant interest from several high-level colleges with many full-ride offers on the table. Rylie, who helped the Lions go undefeated at this summer's Champion's Cup, is expected to be committed by the end of the fall.
