Who doesn't love a top-10 dual on a Wednesday night?! The #6 Cornell Big Red and #10 Arizona State Sun Devils have both traveled to Austin, Texas for a wonderful midweek showdown. Check back here early and often for updates in real-time!

Go time! we will be starting at 157 lbs and ending with at 149 lbs with an amazing match between a multiple time national champion and multiple time All-American.

157: Gage McClenahan, Cornell vs Max Wilner, Arizona State

1st period: Gage McClenahan comes out with strong pressure and hits a nice sweep single. Wilner really makes McClenahan work, and it takes about 45 seconds to finish, but finally, McClenahan does. Wilner escapes 34 seconds later.

2nd period: Granby roll for McClenahan off of the whistle, but Wilner felt it, floated, and pancaked McClenahan to his back for a two count. Wilner puts a tough ride on circling off to a double as McClenahan gets to his feet. Not a whole lot of movement from McClenahan on bottom the last 45 seconds as it's a full period ride out for Wilner.

3rd period: Despite the rideout, Wilner chooses bottom. Big double leg mat return for McClenahan after Wilner stood up off of the whistle, but McClenahan has to stay on the legs and gives up a stall. The sequence repeats off the restart and McClenahan cuts Wilner after erasing riding time. He has one minute to get ta takedown and rideout. McClenahan gets to a single leg with about 10 seconds and comes up to the body, but isn't able to finish.

165: #8 Julian Ramirez, Cornell vs Tony Negron, Arizona State

1st period: Sweep single for Ramirez 20 seconds in. Negron fights hard with a whizzer. Ramirez steps over on the edge and the ref blows the out-of-bounds whistle before he can get the takedown. Still 0-0. Head tap single for Ramirez as Negron is warned for stalling. His head pops to the outside and he gets the finish with 21 seconds to go. 2-0 Ramirez.

2nd period: Ramirez chooses down and escapes 10 seconds in. Single from space for Negron. Despite a good entrance, Ramirez reaches behind for far ankle and scrambles his way on top. The rideout for Ramirez gives him 1:10 of RT. 5-0 Ramirez.

3rd period: Negron chooses bottom. Ramirez close to back points from a claw, but only gets a one count. Ramirez cuts Negron, but Negron turns and shoots an ankle pick immediately. The position ends in a stalemate. The two are both content to let this be the score for the final 25 and that's how it ends.

FINAL: Ramirez, 6-1 ; ASU 3 - COR 3

174: #5 Chris Foca, Cornell vs Josh Nummer, Arizona State

1st period: Lefty single off of the whistle for Foca, but Nummer fights it off and then Nummer pressures him out of bounds and stalling is called on Foca. Foca shoots the same single off of the restart and this time he is able to finish. Nummer doesn't have much for Foca on bottom. Foca almost turns him with an assassin. Roll threw two-on-one tilt for Foca. Nummer looked incredibly flat to me, but Foca will have to settle for four back points. Foca leads 6-0 with 2:33 of riding time.

2nd period: Stand up to standing switch for Foca for a reversal in about 4 seconds. Same roll threw tilt for Foca and Nummer appeared to be pinned again, but Numer is able to get out of danger before the ref calls it. 12-0 Foca with 4:22 for riding time as the period ends.

3rd period: Nummer wisely chooses neutral. Foca shoots Nummer out of bounds and Nummer is called for stalling. Shot from Foca with 40 to go and reattack for Nummer puts the two in the crackdown position. The two end the match in that crackdown.

FINAL: Foca, 13-0 ; COR 7 - ASU 3

184: Ethan Hatcher, Cornell vs #19 Anthony Montalvo, Arizona State

1st period: Montalvo rips a headlock in the first five seconds and Montalvo has Hatcher in all sorts of trouble! Looked for sure like Montalvo was going to get the fall, but after 30 seconds Hatcher is able to roll over and get out of bounds. Hatcher stands up and escapes off of the restart. After an incredible opening, the 1st ends with a rather dull final 2 minutes. 6-1 Montalvo with 30 seconds of riding time.

2nd period: Montalvo escapes on the edge 10 seconds in. The second period comes to close with exactly 0 attacks in the period. 7-1 Montalvo.

3rd period: Hatcher escapes 8 seconds in. Hatcher picks up the pace and gets a takedown with a minute to go. Hatcher looks for a cow catcher, but cuts Montalvo. Hatcher shoots Montalvo out for his second stall with 25 to go. Montalvo puts the skates on for the final couple of seconds, but holds on to win 8-5.

FINAL: Montalvo, 8-5 ; COR 7 - ASU 6

197: #18 Jacob Cardenas, Cornell vs Jonathon Fagen, Arizona State

1st period: Blast double for Cardenas off of the whistle and he finishes just as quick. 2-0 about 2 seconds in. Fagen escapes after 41 seconds. Another double leg for Cardenas, this time he comes up to the body and picks Fagen up and puts him down to finish half way through the period. Fagen gets to his feet and Cardenas is called for stalling before Fagen gets away.

2nd: Cardenas goes down. Cardenas stands up off of the whistle, but Fagen puts him down HARD and the two go out of bounds. After a couple of more stand ups Cardenas escapes 30 seconds in. Not a whole lot happens in the last 90 seconds. 5-2 Cardenas.

3rd period: Complete rideout for Cardenas. Fagen spent a lot of time on his stomach. Cardenas finishes with 2:44 or riding time.

FINAL: Cardenas 6-2 ; COR 10 - ASU 6

285: #16 Lewis Fernandes, Cornell vs #6 Cohlton Schultz, Arizona State

1st period: The two go out of bounds in over-under position and Fernandes is called for stalling. Schultz drives Fernandes out of bounds with a two-on-one and it's another stall for Fernades. Schultz goes on the board one minute in. Not much happens in the last 2 and a half minutes. 1-0 Schultz.

2nd period: Schultz goes down. Fernandes slips the boots in right away. He's able to get 51 seconds of riding time while being in poor position off to the side for most of the time. Finally, Schultz is able to get a reversal. Fernandes escapes quickly to make the score 3-1. Schultz shoots Fernandes out of bounds but actions is the call as time expires.

3rd period: Fernades escapes quickly. 3-2 with almost the entire 3rd period to go. Schultz locks up a body lock and takes Fernandes out of bounds and Fernandes is called for stalling. 4-2 with 95 seconds to go. Fernandes shoots a couple of attacks and gets Schultz called for stalling, but can't break the head-hands defense. 

FINAL: Schultz 4-2 ; COR 10 - ASU 9

125: #17 Brett Ungar, Cornell vs #6 Brandon Courtney, Arizona State

1st period: Beautiful and quick slide by for Courtney. Ungar tries to roll threw it, but Courtney gets the takedown 40 seconds in. Ungar able to escape off of a restart after 26 seconds of riding time.

2nd period: Courtney with a reversal 15 seconds in. Ungar able to get to his feet several times, but can't escape as Courtney opts to pick him up and take him to the edge before putting him down. Now Courtney cuts Ungar with a minute to go. Righty single for Ungar. Ungar comes up to a body lock and Courtney is able to square up. End of 2: 4-2 Courtney with 1:10 of riding time.

3rd: Ungar chooses bottom. Courtney cuts him right away and quickly uses a super duck entry to a high c and trips Ungar down, but Ungar is able to get to a whizzer. Courtney takes it to the edge and locks around the waist as the two go out of bounds. Takedown is called, but Cornell challenges. Call confirmed. Ungar escapes with 90 seconds to go. Courtney is the one keeping the pace and motion up, but Ungar is able to lock him up and fend off another takedown.

FINAL: Courtney 4-2, ASU 12 - COR 10

133: #3 Vito Arujau, Cornell vs #4 Michael McGee, Arizona State

1st period: A couple of shots and couple of reattacks for each guy, but the period ends 0-0.

2nd period: Vito escapes 16 seconds in. Textbook low single and finish for McGee for the first takedown of the match. Vito escapes after McGee amasses 49 seconds of riding time. Vito stalks McGee for the final 40 seconds, but isn't able to get a takedown. 2-2 McGee.

3rd period: McGee sits and escapes. 3-2 with 95 seconds to go. McGee shoots a double, Vito drags out of it and mat return for Vito, but McGee granbys and comes around to the legs as they go out of bounds. Takedown and reversal is the call, but the officials are going to have a look at it. Call is confirmed. It was a rear standing no reaction takedown situation. 5-4 McGee with 43 seconds to go and 33 seconds of riding time. Vito escapes in 9 seconds. Misdirection single for McGee, but Vito gets his leg back. The two both shoot at the same time and end up in an ankle-to-ankle scramble position and Vito puts McGee in danger and gets the takedown at the buzzer!

FINAL: Arujau 7-5, COR 13 - ASU 12

141: #16 Vince Cornella, Cornell vs Jesse Vasquez, Arizona State

1st period: Vasquez bounces Cornella in the front headlock position and gets a quick takedown call as he comes behind. Cornella answers with a quick takedown of his own. Vasquez's escape ties it at 3 halfway through the period. Late low double and a mat return for Cornella as he finishes the period strong. 5-3 Cornella.

2nd period: Cornella chooses bottom and escapes quickly. Cornella takes on another takedown and rideout to this period as well. 8-3 Cornella with 1:23 of riding time.

3rd period: Vasquez chooses bottom. Incredible pressure and Blair ride on top from Cornella. He wins with a total of 3:23 of riding time.

FINAL: Cornella 9-3 ; COR 16 - ASU 12

149: #1 Yianni Diakomihalis, Cornell vs #6 Kyle Parco, Arizona State

1st period: Parco took the first shot or two, but after a couple of Yianni shots, Parco is hit for stalling 2:15 in. Single leg for Yianni on the edge and he spends about 30 seconds trying to pull Parco back in and finish, but time and space run out. 0-0.

2nd period: Parco escapes after 3 seconds. single leg for Parco, but Yianni crunches Parco and comes close to the cradle. Just the takedown for Yianni. Diakomihalis finishes on top and with 48 of riding time.

3rd: Standing switch to a head cartwheel and escape for Yianni after 17 seconds. Low single and quick finish for Yianni with 30 seconds to go.Parco escapes, but Yianni disappears on a double to take Parco down. The rideout gives him 1:03 of riding time.
