The 2024 NCAA college softball season begins on Feb. 8 at the Division I level and teams aren’t exactly easing into the season. 

Top-25 ranked softball teams are in action on Day 1, including the favorites to win it all, again, in No.1 Oklahoma Softball. The Sooners are in Mexico to start the season at the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge.

The opening weekend is filled with preseason tournaments and matchups to start the season and the Puerto Vallarta College Challenge will feature two top-25 matchups alone on Day 1.
