Roses are red, violets are blue and Tampa has risen two... spots in the latest Division II Baseball rankings released on Valentine's Day. 

Angelo State Baseball, the preseason No. 1 team and defending NCAA Division II champion, fell to No. 3 in the latest NCBWA poll on Feb. 14 after going 6-2 to start the season.

Tampa Baseball (6-0) the preseason No. 3 rose to No.1 in the rankings after going 6-0 to start the season. North Greenville (6-1) remained at No. 2.

The Rams still received four first-place votes after the two losses to Eastern New Mexico. Angelo State split the four-game series that included 5-3 and 8-0 wins but also 4-3 and 12-9 losses.
