FloSports Launches FloCollege on October 15
FloSports Launches FloCollege on October 15 - A New Home For College Sports Featuring More than 12,000 Live Games Across Division I, Div. II, and Div. III.
The game is changing for college sports fans. This October, FloSports will launch FloCollege, a new college sports streaming platform elevating underserved Division-II and Division-III athletics while serving Division-I fans at scale. Featuring 12 NCAA conferences with more than 12,000 live games for the 2024-2025 season, FloCollege will be an essential destination for fans offering live events, original programming and news all in one place. FloCollege will officially launch on October 15 for $19.99/month or $107.88/year ($8.99/month).
Since the start of the 2024 college sports season, FloSports has seen a 37% increase in viewers for football and a 45% increase for soccer. The platform will build off this momentum, giving fans access to stream games and follow top college conferences at the D-II and D-III level along with the BIG EAST and Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) at the D-I level. These partners represent more than 1,200 teams across men’s and women’s athletics from over 80 schools. Also included in the service will be many of the NCAA’s most popular multiple-team events (MTEs) including the Cayman Islands Classic, Battle 4 Atlantis, Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic, Shriners Children’s College Showdown, and more.
At launch FloCollege subscribers will have access to select games already in season from conference partners, before it debuts the full men’s and women’s basketball season this November. In total, the platform will feature the following sports: Football, Basketball, Soccer, Baseball, Hockey, Rugby, Wrestling, Lacrosse, Softball, Volleyball, Field Hockey, Cross Country, Fencing, Golf, Gymnastics, Swimming, Tennis, Track, Rowing, and Water Polo. It will also showcase more than 4,000 women’s games at the D-II and D-III level - the most of any streaming platform.
The FloCollege user experience will harness advanced personalization features allowing users to follow the teams, conferences, games, and sports that they love with ease. Its debut will coincide with the launch of the updated FloSports Connected TV app, which will feature enhanced discoverability and streaming capabilities, providing the ultimate viewing experience for college sports fans on Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Android TV devices. The service will also be available on the web and for download on mobile devices (iOS and Android) via the FloSports app.
“We are building a product that will be best-in-class in serving college sports fans of all levels,” said Mark Floreani, FloSports Co-Founder and CEO. “Our vision for FloCollege is to become the essential destination for the thousands of Division-II and Division-III athletes, their families, and fans, while providing much-needed funds to these smaller institutions, who are in critical need of additional revenue resources.”
FloSports will invest more than $50 million dollars into FloCollege to support rights fees, production, content, product technology, and marketing. The direct investment in conference rights helps member institutions apply funding towards their own broadcast and production capabilities to further enhance the quality of coverage across all sports, ensuring parity and inclusivity.
The launch will be supported by a robust marketing and content strategy that includes original programming, weekly highlight shows, a free ‘Game of the Week’ for DII and DIII matchups, and an innovative NIL Influencer Campaign, tapping top DII and DIII athletes across the country.
The 12 NCAA conferences included at launch are the BIG EAST, Coastal Athletic Association (CAA), Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), Landmark Conference, New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC), South Atlantic Conference (SAC), California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), Lone Star Conference (LSC), Gulf South Conference (GSC), Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC), Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) and Northeast-10 Conference (NE10) with more on the horizon.
