NCAA DII Softball Championships 2025 Bracket: Here's Who Plays Who

The DII softball championship selection show took place at 10 a.m. ET on Monday, May 5 to determine who will play for a chance at the national title.

The selection show on the morning of Monday, May 5, marked one last turn on the road to crown the 2025 DII softball national champion as the season enters the final stretch.

The 64-team tournament kicks off on May 8 with four teams from each of the 16 different regions competing in a double-elimination round to earn a spot in the coveted super regional round.

Those 16 are then whittled down to the final eight in a best-of-three series to determine the handful of the most elite teams at this level of the sport.

2024 reigning national champion University of Texas at Tyler sit atop the South Central region with their 49-4 record against DII softball teams heading into the regional round.
