The 2026 Marry Nutter Classic is going strong. As the Oklahoma Sooners took on the Cal Bears, the game was close until the very end.

The Sooners jumped on the offense early, but the lead would not last long as Cal would take a 2-1 lead early. Cal would double up their lead in the third moving it to a 4-1 ball game.

OU would claw back in the top of the fourth and stay at a two-run deficit until the bats cam alive in the top of the 6th!

OU would rely on pitching to help keep the lead as Cal would make a valiant effort to come back.

Ou will take on Washington in the morning game of the 2026 Mary Nutter Classic on Feb. 22
