The 2026 softball season is at it's peak! As teams continue to battle for a seat in their conference tournaments and postseason, here's a look at the Top-25

The 2026 D2 softball season is rolling right along. With action on the field week in and week out, the talent is unmatched this time of year. 

With seats in a conference tournament and the post-season creeping in, the top talent in the game is showing up and showing out. 

Another full weekend of action is on the way, but for now the West Texas A&M Lady Buffs hold the crown in this week's Top-25 rankings from the NFCA. 

The Lady Buffs represent the Lone Star Conference and are currently sitting at the top in the conference standings. 

With a 29-3 season record and a 19-1 conference record, the Lady Buffs will take on the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds on Mar. 28. 

Here is a look at how the rest of the Top-25 shapes up according to the NFCA rankings.
