In our latest round of “T Time” with All-American pitcher T Statman interviewing top players around the country, we get to enjoy the Birmingham Thunderbolts standout and Arizona signee talk with Illinois Chill pitcher Caroline Hedgecock as both led their teams deep into weekend play at the Boulder Independence Day Tournament.

Caroline has emerged as one of the surprises of the summer so far, a pitcher who beat the So Cal A’s in pool play in Boulder before the A’s made it to the Final Four at the IDT.

The Maryland commit led the Chill to the Elite 8 while T helped the Bolts to the Sweet 16 before spraining her ankle in the first inning of a loss to the A’s.

Both pitchers will be in action this week at the DeMarini Invitational Showcase which will also feature the Beverly Bandits Premier – Conroy team which won it all at the 18U Boulder championship.
