If you’re a softball fan, you have to be excited for two big events this weekend which FloSoftball is excited to be streaming:

• The So Cal A’s Invitational (sign up here to see all games)
• The Birmingham Thunderbolts 5 Star Exposure (sign up here to see games at Lagoon complex)

Both will have tons of talent and Jay Robertson of the Thunderbolts, the Event Director for the 5 Star Exposure, told me he’s expecting over 200 college coaches to attend his event in Montgomery, Ala. this weekend!

Tons of young talent there for sure with almost 100 teams competing.

In sunny Southern California, it’s the opposite in terms of size and age: there will only be 13 teams playing and most of the athletes on the fields in Santa Ana will be older, but, wow, will the talent be off the charts.

What’s amazing is that of the 2015 Hot 100 players, 40 of them will be playing Friday through Sunday on the two fields!

• #12 Rachel Garcia (Corona Angels)—injury/Jr. National Team
