Prom Pics! Gator signee Amanda Lorenz (5/18)

Amanda Lorenz, the 2015 outfielder from Moorpark (Calif.) has accomplished pretty much everything possible in her high school softball career.
She’s won multiple club National Championships—the latest with the OC Batbusters – Haning/Stith—which took the PGF 18U Nationals last summer—and was a Full Count Softball American last year as a junior when she hit .642 with 22 doubles, 30 RBI, eight doubles and scoring 48 runs.

She was even listed as the No. 1 player in the 2015 Hot 100 list of top recruits in the country.
The most amazing thing about Amanda, though, may be that teams have been known to intentionally walk her leading off a game rather than risk more extensive damage!
She also has a great eye for pitch selection–she struck out only three times in 118 at-bats as a junior—and only has whiffed twice this year in 25 games.
With her senior year quickly coming to a close, the Univ. of Florida signee checked off another box on May 16 when she attended her final high school prom, which was held at the Ronald Regan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, Calif.
The theme was “Big City Lights” and, as you’ll see from the photos, Amanda had a great time not just with her boyfriend but also with her friends and Musketeer teammates.
Below you’ll see more photos of Amanda and her prom experience…
