PLAYERS: if your REALLY want to do something cool to honor your Mom or key person in your life, pay tribute to her here on our site!

But time is running out… the deadline to submit your thoughts on what your MOM means to you is 24 hours away — Saturday at noon!!! (note: if you send in something by Saturday at midnite EST it still may make the post but not guaranteed)

Debbie and Jenna Lilley, now a standout freshman at Oregon, are one example of a great mother-daughter team we've profiled!

This Sunday — in two days — Full Count Softball is running a “Mother’s Day Tribute” article along with photos you send in.

Here are some ideas to help you (you don’t have to use these… they’re just idea starters!):

  • What has your mom done to show how much she loves you?
  • How has she helped you in life, be it softball, school or otherwise?
  • What do you like best about your mom? Her sense of humor? her patience? her sacrifices she’s made for you?
  • What’s an example or story that shows how special she is?
  • When you think of your mom and your love for her, what’s the first thing that comes to mind?
  • Maybe you fill in the blank to this: “My mom is great because____________________.”

E-mail your Mother’s Day tributes by this Saturday (May 9) no later than noon to Brentt@FullCountSoftball.com.

Your write-ups can be as long as you’d like—one sentence or a couple paragraphs. And, if possible, remember to send in a photo!

Dads and coaches: let your players know about this opportunity to pay tribute to the Moms who hopefully mean so much to their little girls!
