Scouting Report:
Kassidy is a power-throwing pitcher and a power-hitting third baseman who led her club team in home runs last year while hitting mostly in the cleanup spot. She hit 28 HRs in 2014, between club and high school ball. She has quick hands—she gets through the zone to the ball so fast with a whip that it results in great power. Kassidy throws in the low 60’s and has a change-up that is her money pitch. Her best trait, though, is probably her work ethic as she is driven and passionate about maximizing her skills and abilities.

Coach’s Comments (high school coach):
“Kassidy does everything: she hits and she’s also a very good pitcher. That’s what she did for us, she batted in the middle of the lineup as one of our top hitters. She has a well-rounded skill set offensively, defensively and pitching.”
“She is very competitive and wants to be the best and play the best. Kassidy always wants the extra reps, swings and ground balls. As a coach you love players like that. Her personality is light-hearted; she’s a funny kid who makes everybody laugh but when gets between the lines is all business.”
— Brooks Youngblood, Head Coach at Lambert (Ga.) High
Coach’s Comments (pitching instructor):
“Kassidy is such a gifted athlete. She is a power hitter that bats clean up for one of the top teams in the Southeast and starts every game at either third or on the mound. That’s just not something you see all the time. She’s a kid who just loves to play the game. Kassidy loves to hit and get dirty on the field. She’s definitely a multi talented athlete.”
“Kassidy is a strong pitcher with power, but her best pitch is her change-up and she makes people look silly with her change. She throws 61-63 mph, has a good rise, curve, and drop and that killer change up that she can throw in any situation with any count and win. Kassidy is a very, very hard worker, a great teammate and a fun-loving kid. She is a joy to work with and has a very bright future in the game!”
— Stacy Tamborra, Owner and Lead Pitching Professional of Champions Fast Pitch Academy
Coach’s Comments (hitting instructor):
As a hitting instructor, Kassidy makes my job easy because of her ability and willingness to make the adjustments that will make her better. She is a natural hitter and a great athlete, who works hard because she knows what she wants to accomplish.
— Emily Pritchett Payne, Batting Instructor for Kassidy
