We’ve released the Hot 100 recruiting lists for the Classes of 2014, 2015 (original and updated), 2016 and 2017 and the 2018 Hot 100 officially kicks off tomorrow, Sunday, March 22, as we’ll run the list of the “Next 100 In” meaning the players who are ranked in the 101-200 spots.
They will be listed alphabetically and, along with being able to say they’re in the top 200 players nationally in their class, are also poised to be the ones looked at first when we update and revise the list down the road!
The Hot 100 itself will then start with players ranked No. 100 through 91 on Monday, March 23 and finish on Friday, April 3 with the top 10 and certainly the No. 1 overall player in the freshman class.

Having compiled five Hot 100 lists, we’ve come to learn it takes close to 60 hours of research, data compilation, interviews with scouts and coaches, writing, editing, photo solicitation and, finally, production and posting to produce a Hot 100 list with bios and photos!
Montana Fouts, a 2018 pitcher with the Beverly Bandits and a commit to Alabama, is a probable 2018 Hot 100 honoree!
This also includes related lists such as the Top College Recruiting Classes and the Class Watch List.
Important note: even if you have sent in info already, we’ll continue to update news on the 2018 class and will eventually revise the 2018 Hot 100 list as players emerge and known ones improve!
The main things we always need are head and action shots (photos) and updated stats (club and high school).
