Name: JENNIFER BRESSLER
Club: Michigan Pride 00
Pos: Pitcher/2nd Base
High School: Plymouth (Canton, Mich.)
Club Stats: 2014 – 36-9, 287 strikeouts, 0.77 ERA, batting average of .364
GPA: 4.0
Height: 5-5
Other Sports: plays high school volleyball

College: uncommitted:
Recruiting Process: interest from schools such as Arizona State, Michigan, Michigan State, Georgia and many smaller schools.

Camps: Jenny attended Banditfest this past January and performed well.
Training: workouts out at Triad Health with her strength coach twice a week. Attends pitching and hitting lessons once a week,  throws and hits on her own two other days, attends Sunday three hour practices.

Scouting Report: Jenny is not going to blow the ball by hitters with great speed (currently throws 60mph), but she does the most important thing: she gets outs.  Jenny has excellent spin and can locate the ball where ever she wants. With an efficient and smooth pitching motion to go along with a great late jumping rise ball, she manages to keep hitters off balance.  She also has an outstanding glove when playing second base and she hits 3rd in the Pride lineup.

Her father--and head coach--says Jenny is not loud, but a leader by example.

Coach’s Comments: “Jenny is a strong competitor.  She is very strong mentally, nothing shakes her when in the circle.  She has a passion to succeed and it shows by her ability to place a pitch where she sees a hitter’s weakness.  While Jenny is not a loud person, her teammates look to her for leadership.  She settles them down and refocuses their efforts in the right direction.  Our team is successful because of her leadership.”

Future Events: Being from Michigan, Jenny’s team travels out of state looking for the strongest tournaments to participate in.  Only two local tournaments are scheduled this summer.  The rest are four to 12 hours away.  Past and future tournaments she has pitched in include Futures Elite (Team NJ and GA Impact) where she had 17 strikeouts in one game, Champions Elite GA, Demarini Elite, Southern Force Fall Showcase, Scenic City TN, ASA Nationals and Ohio Stingrays.

Favorite Bat:
Louisville Slugger LXT. I love this bat. The ball just jumps off it. It feels good in my hands and swings easy.”

What bat do you use? What bat does your team use?

“Louisville Slugger LXT is the bat I use. The majority of my team uses the Easton Mako.”

What is your brand of cleats?

“Ringor. These are the only cleats that I do not wear out before the season is over.”

What is the uniform brand you prefer?

“I love our Pride uniforms from Boombah.”
