Team Profile: Atlanta Vipers – Vallery 16U (1/27)

As we get ready to launch our FAB 50 15U Club Rankings this week, we’ll look at some of the talented teams that will make the list.

The Atlanta Vipers - Vallery 16U team.
The Atlanta Vipers – Vallery 16U team.

One of those is the Atlanta Vipers 16U team coached by Dickey Vallery, who addes four new players to what was already a loaded team.

The Vipers finished tied for 17th at the PGF 14U Nationals last summer and in the fall had some nice signature wins against powerful teams like the East Cobb Bullets 18U team, Georgia Elite, East Cobb Bullets – Bass and the Tennessee Fury among other top teams in the Southeast.

The Georgia-based team will play in the 18 Gold Cup Series this summer in Georgia and also compete in 16U Nationals before going Gold ball entirely next year.

With a core of solid pitching and strong defense, look for the Atlanta Vipers – Vallery team to be one of the big threats to go far at Nationals..

Here’s a look at the team and those that make it one of the best in the nation at the 16U level…
