We at Full count Softball are big fans of Tamara “T” Statman of the Birmingham Thunderbolts, the outstanding 2015 pitcher/infielder who is one of the most talented, passionate and funny young athletes you’ll ever meet.

… and also great in telling her story through video… in today’s segment T talks about what she did to end the 2014 year including a special Hanukkah break and Jewish activity on the West Coast, another trip back to Alabama for workouts and a list of her blessings including some things you might not have thought of!

T is from Phoenix (Ariz.) Horizon High and signed with the Univ. of Arizona in November. One of the most accomplished softball players around, here are just some of the accomplishments of the Arizona senior:

  • 4.0 student
  • 1st Team All-American
  • 2015 Hot 100 honoree
  • has a 3rd degree black belt in taekwondo
  • participates in student government
  • started a program called “T K’s for Skin Cancer” where she partnered with the Arizona Skin Cancer Foundation to raise money for each strikeout she records

Also, check out her website which is one of the best softball player sites you’ll ever see.
