You have to recruit well in the super competitive SEC to have a chance and that’s exactly what Mississippi State did as it pulled in six standout players to give the program the No. 21 ranked class in the Full Count Softball Top 25.

Included in the Bulldog class is a pair of 2015 Hot 100 pitchers: Regan Green (No. 14) and Sabrina Turner (No. 96), both of whom play for Lady Lightning Gold Team Miken of North Carolina.

Also joining the class are three talented infielders: Emily Heimberger, who also plays for Lady Lightning, Taylor Kelly of the Atlanta Vipers – Berry and Sarai Niu of So Cal A’s – Myers/McNee, which won PGF 16U Nationals.

The final member of the class is another title winner in Madison Cousineau of Tennessee Fury, which won the ASA Gold Nationals at the 16U level this summer.

Five of the players visited Starkville in November for a home victory by the Bulldog football team and are seen in the photo above on the sideline before the football game.
