Monday night (Dec. 22, 2014) saw many elite college and high school-aged catchers gather for a clinic at Jen Schro Catching at Sports Performance Workshop in Anaheim, Calif. and one of the highlights of the event was the “Last Man Standing” drill.

The young catchers had to face away from Clinic Director Jen Schroeder who would shout a command while tossing a ball and the backstops had to quickly turn and dive to make the catch.

Drop it and you’re out so the drill progressed until there were only two players left… the tension builds as a senior headed to the Pac-12 and a sophomore who’s reportedly close to committing face-off until only one is left.
