If you know your club and high school softball, you know that Mark Campbell is one of the top coaches in the sport, having won national championships with Team Mizuno and this year’s OC Batbusters – Haning/Stith club team as well as taking prep titles leading the Pacifica Mariners of Garden Grove, Calif.

Last month, Coach Campbell—who is an excellent trainer of catchers—worked with a pair of promising 2019 Hawaii players in Kai Barrett and Kalena Markham at the Sports Training Complex facility in Anaheim, Calif.

Both players attend Iolani School and also play together for the Crush Navy Softball club team coached by former New York Met outfielder Benny Agbayani.
