2017 Hot 100 list coming in December!
We’ve run the list of the Hot 100 recruits across the nation for the 2014, 2015 and 2016 classes… and the 2017’s are next!
The current sophomores have begun to be evaluated and we’re opening it up to the softball community—be you a player, parent, or (club and high school) coach—to submit nominations and explanations as to why you think your favorite player should be considered as one of the top 100 recruits in the country.
As has been mentioned before, it takes an estimated 55-60 hours or research, data compilation, interviews with scouts and coaches, writing, editing, photo solicitation and, finally, production and posting to produce a Hot 100 and its associated lists including Top College Recruiting Classes and (Recruit) Watch List.
Over the next several weeks the groundwork will be laid with the intention to start revealing the 2017 Hot 100 list in early to mid-December.
Every nomination will be considered so feel free to send in the following:
- player name
- club team
- position(s)
- high school
- home city/state
- key stats (club and high school, if available)
- major honors
- GPA/academics
- other sport accomplishments
- recruiting situation (committed/non-committed, who’s recruiting, visits taken, etc.)
- significant off-the-field activities (i.e. hobbies, community service, charitable work, etc.)
- human interest angles (for example, injuries or obstacles overcome)
- anything else of interest!
