It was a fun day to be a Nittany Lions fan at Beaver Stadium in University Park, Pa. on Saturday as the Penn State football team beat Temple 30-13.

Over 100,000 were in attendance to watch the Big Ten team win at home and among those watching the game were the six latest Lion softball signees (left to right):

• infielder Meghan Williams (Jersey Intensity)
• pitcher Maddie Seifert (St. Louis Chaos)
• pitcher Maddie Shaffer (Illinois Chill),
• catcher Tori Dubois (Rhode Island Thunder)
• infielder Lexi Lotito (So Cal Choppers)

This was a strong class for Penn State as Polk and Seifert made the 2015 Hot 100 list (No.’s 28 and 36 respectively) and the group was rated No. 17 nationally in this class.
