John Corn and his Lady Lightning Team Miken Gold program have emerged as one of the top softball team in the nation as shown by back-to-back Top 10 finishes at the PGF Nationals the last two years.

That success has been driven by players going to colleges ranging from Alabama to Virginia.

Still, it’s unusual for one team to have three players going to one school and the Lightning have, well, had lightning strike twice as Coach Corn’s squad has three players headed to one SEC school and three more going ACC.

Hear from the coach and his players – from left to right you’ll meet Emily Heimberger, Regan Green, Sabrina Turner, Coach John Corn, Kiana Sherlund, Katie Bailiff and Megan Dray – who will be showing up on their chosen college campus and knowing at least two players in their softball locker room!
