September 4, 2014 was a very good day for the Arizona Wildcat softball program as the future stars for the Pac-12 team took their official visit to Tucson.

Shown here posing here in the football stadium where the gridiron team would beat Cal that weekend in a thriller 49-45 on an amazing Hail Mary that must have been awesome to see in person!

Head Coach Mike Candrea and his staff must be excited about this outstanding group of recruits, which is a Top 10 national class as revealed in the Top 25 Classes – 2015 earlier today.

Here are the positions, names, and the club teams of those who visited their future home about two months ago:

Outfielder Merrilee Miller (AZ Desert Thunder), pitcher Taylor McQuillin (OC Batbusters – Haning/Stith), outfielder Justin Garganese (Firecrackers – Rico, but who is, sadly, reportedly done with softball because of knee injuries), utility player Joelle Krist (Nor Cal Shockers), and catcher Hillary Edior (Firecrackers – Rico).

Bottom left to right:
Outfielder Monica Pasillas (So Cal A’s 18U-Quarles) first baseman/outfielder Alyssa Palomino (OC Batbusters – Haning/Stith), and pitcher/infielder T Statman (Birmingham Thunderbolts).
