Saturday morning saw the Advanced Fastpitch Training (AFT) Prospect Camp take place at Huntington Beach (Calif.) Marina High School as 78 players in the 2015 to 2018 classes worked out in skills drills and game action in front of college coaches.

Organized by Jeff Blanco, who coaches nine teams in the Firecrackers organization, the players came from Arizona, Nevada and Northern Calif. as well as those in Southern California.

Showed a big powerful bat and a great glove with good footwork at first base.

— P Lauren Stone (2015, Firecrackers – Blanco 18 Gold)
Power pitcher who overpowered hitters with a great riseball.

— C/UT Kaitlin Barry (2016, Firecrackers – Blanco 16U)
Very vocal leader on the field, showed a big bat as well.

— C/3B Nikki Butler (2016, Firecrackers – Blanco 16U)
Very skilled catcher with a strong arm and very powerful bat.

— 3B/SS Dominique Campos (2016, Firecrackers Blanco – 18 Gold)
Great range and a strong arm at the hot corner. Very athletic with a big bat.

— OF/2B Celsa Faulstich (2016, Firecrackers – Blanco North 18U)
Very skilled slapper, with great speed.

— 2B/SS Natalie Giroux (2016, Firecrackers – Blanco 16u)
Displayed great defensive skills and a great bat throughout the day.

— C/1B Katie Manley (2016, Firecrackers – Blanco North 18U)
Great presence on the field. Big left handed bat. Did a great job catching and at 1B.

— SS/2B/OF Alyson Manzo (2016, Firecrackers – Blanco North 18U)
One of the stars of the camp, very versatile on the field and a slapper with power.

— C/UT Jazmine Moreno (2016, Firecrackers – Blanco 16U)
Played a lot bigger than her size, great skills behind the plate and hit very well.

— P/1B Amber Baldwin (2017, Firecrackers – Blanco 16U)
Was one of the top pitchers at the camp. Attracted interest from many coaches.

— C/3B Bridget Fleener (2017, Combat Panthers 18U)
One of the top hitters at the camp. A big left handed bat.

— 3B/1B Julia McCormick (2017, Firecrackers – Blanco North 18U)
Definitely one of the stars of the camp. Great bat and very skilled at 3rd base.

— P/1B Lainey Stephenson (2017, Firecrackers – Blanco 16U)
One of the hardest throwing pitchers in the camp. Attracted a lot of interest.

— SS/C Gianna Carosone (2018, Firecrackers – Blanco 14U)
Great catcher and an even better SS. Great bat as well

— 3B/1B Skylar Glaude (2018, Firecrackers – Blanco 14U)
Very intense 3rd baseman who plays with passion. Has a very big bat as well.

— C/SS Frankie Hammoude (2018, Firecrackers – Blanco North 16U)
Attracted a lot of interest at the camp with her great power to the opposite field.

— P/OF Aubrielle Paulson (2018, Firecrackers – Blanco 14U)
The top young pitcher at the camp. Has all the pitches. Also very skilled slapper.

— C/3B Josey White (2018, Firecrackers – Blanco 16U)
One of the top young catchers at the camp. Also hit very well.
