High School Honors: Played in Virginia Division 5A. Conference 11 1st Team, Pitcher of Year, All-Academic Team, 2nd Team All-Region, 2nd Team All-Metro. In two state playoff games, pitched 17 straight shutout innings until passed ball in bottom 7th in Regional Quarterfinal game.
Club Stats: With Dixie Chicks, under Coach Steve Ruch, went 53-8 with 375 K’s. Went 8-0 to win 14U-A NSA National Championship before jump to 18U Dixie Chicks this fall. Currently 5-1, one save. 34 IP, 41 K’s, 6W, eight earned runs, 1.62 ERA.

Misc.: Recently, according to the pitcher’s father, John, “Peyton complained about having issues seeing signals from the catcher. About a month ago an eye exam came back—her left eye was 20-90, right eye had a stigmatism. All is ok now and contacts are in place. Go figure.”
