We continue our look at the top 100 players in the 2016 class… we’re spotlighting 10 each day as we countdown from 100 to No. 1. The juniors were chosen based on input and feedback from college and club coaches. Criteria for choosing and ranking the players including performances at the club and high school levels and projecting how they will play at the collegiate level.

Today we feature players No. 80 to 71 with standout players from Alabama, California, Kansas, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Randi is a tall (6-foot) shortstop who has really come on in the last year as she played her sophomore year with confidence. She makes plays you can't believe due to her awesome range and instincts. On offense the ball jumps off her bat and she has college power now. She played on the Corona Angels-Slye team last year and is now on the Angels Gold team. Randi is also athletic enough to steal a base if needed.
79 Kaitlin Buff

Kaitlin is a lefty with great movement and can effectively go up and down. She has a drop curve, change, rise, drop and curve change which are all tough against lefty hitters. She started the 14U PGF Nationals championship game in 2013, a narrow loss to Team Mizuno-Campbell, but had a 0.96 ERA for the week pitching over 36 innings. Kaitlin has also earned All-L.A. City honors.

Justice was a Missouri All-State selection in 2013 when she hit .576, but suffered a tough knee injury playing Powder Puff football for her school which has required two surgeries. The second was in May and she's ahead of schedule. A 4.0 student, Justice is an outstanding athlete and holds her school record for most steals, hits and batting average in a season. She's a five-tool player who thrives under pressure.
77 Delaney Elling

Delaney is one of the top prospects in the East and was a 1st Team Pennsylvania AAA All-State catcher last year when she hit .684, had 32 RBI and scored 27 runs. A 4.0 student who was also pursued by Stanford, she scored a 30 on the ACT. Delaney is a fiery competitor who lives and breathes softball and has awesome pop in her bat but can also hit for average. A great all-around athlete, she's also played volleyball and basketball.
76 Carmyn Greenwood

OF Birmingham Thunderbolts Auburn
Carmyn has really come into her own over the last year and has emerged as one of the top outfielders in the nation. She hits with power, can slap and run and runs better than average. She's a hard worker, can play any outfield position and is a threat to run anytime she's on base. Carmyn hit .495 in high school with seven home runs and stole 28 bases. This summer she hit .500 for the Bolts with five dingers and added 18 steals. She had an 0-and-2, two-out, walk-off double at PGF Nationals that was one of the highlights of the 16U tournament.
75 Maddison Kettler

Nicknamed "Crash," Maddison burst onto the national scene when she was a freshman, hitting .570 in high school and stealing 27 bases. She had a big year again this season and earned 3A All-State honors and 2nd Team Full Count Softball All-American honors. She was heavily recruited by all the major conferences and had offers from Georgia and Ole Miss as well. She is a great all-around athlete who can play infield and outfield and has excellent speed as well as a quick first step on defense.
74 Miranda Rohleder

SS Wichita Mustangs Frenso State
Miranda is one of the best defensive shortstops in the country and has a great arm and impressive range. At the high school level she had a .993 fielding percentage. She can hit for average and has been at the OnDeck camps where she drew a lot of attention. A 1st Team Class 5A All-State honoree, Miranda can hit for power and average from the left side and went .585 with 40 RBI and 36 runs scored.
73 RyLee Rodriguez

Rylee is one of the best pure power hitters in the country with the ability to hit to all fields. She has had a great first two years at the high school level with a collective .502 batting average, 113 hits, 121 RBI and 31 home runs. In 2014 alone she hit 17 homers with an amazing 67 RBI. RyLee can be plugged in at many positions, mainly in the infield, and this past year was a Class 4A 1st Team All-State pick as a utility player.
72 Emily Ramelot

Emily is very athletic, has a strong arm and can play both positions on the left side of the infield equally well. She makes great plays look easy and has a very good bat too, especially in the power game. She had a big grand slam for her high school team and was one of the catalysts for them making it to the Southern Section Div. 1 title game.
71 Montana Dixon

#71 - Montana Dixon
C So Cal A's - Richardson Stanford
Montana is a very good athlete who can play either corner of the infield but has great potential at catcher also. She hit 19 home runs, one of the highest marks ever in competitive Southern California, and earned 2nd Team CalHiSports.com All-State honors. Montana has a 4.2 GPA and is a hard worker with a very high ceiling. On defense she has a great arm and should see early playing time at Stanford because of her versatility.
