Kyra’s blog: preparing for fall (8/18)

Kyra, who is an Alabama commit, says she is looking forward to high school ball to work on her leadership skills.“Sophomore year will present me with new challenges, such as my three honors courses, preparation for the SATs, as well as managing my extensive travel ball schedule in the fall,” says Kyra Lockhart, one of the top 2017 prospects in the country as she begins her sophomore at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High in Scotch Plains, N.J.

In her latest blog for FullcountSoftball.com, the Univ. of Alabama commit gives us insight into what makes her an outstanding student-athletic: her goal setting and strong work ethic.

We first met Kyra, a first baseman with the Jersey Intensity, last summer at a Surf City showcase and were not only impressed with her powerful stroke on the field, but her personality and energy off of it. When she said she loves to write, we knew she’d be another great blog writer FullCountSoftball.com!
