T’s blog: time for a change (8/6)

We’re excited to introduce our new video blogger, Tamara “T” Statman, a 2015 pitcher/infielder from Phoenix (Ariz.) Horizon High who was ranked in our Hot 100 prospects list and is committed to the Univ. of Arizona.
T has an amazing background: she’s a 4.0 student who is a 3rd degree blackbbelt in Tae Kwon Do, participates in student government and has even started a program called “T K’s for Skin Cancer” where she partnered with the Arizona Skin Cancer Foundation to raise money for each strikeout she records (and raised over $50,000 her first year!).
She also has a great website which is a living, breathing resume of her on and off the field accomplishments! Players and parents: you want exposure and to impress coaches? Follow T’s lead on this site!
“I’m excited to share my senior year with people and my softball experience that many people only wonder about how it works,” the 1st Team All-American explains.
In her first blog we learn of T’s reasons for changing club teams heading into her senior year and also how hot it is in Phoenix this week… let’s just say it in the triple digits!
