The PGF 18U Premier National Championship took place Saturday afternoon at Bill Barber Park in Irvine, Calif. as the OC Batbusters defeated the Corona Angels 3-0.

I had a front row seat literally behind the backstop and shot over 100 photos of the action from pre-game to the celebration at the end including the awarding of trophies, the celebratory team picture by the Batbusters and a private final team meeting led by Coach Mike Stith.

It was a surprisingly fast and efficient game, lasting only 1 hour and 14 minutes, thanks in large part to great pitching and defense (only seven hits, no walks or errors).
