One of the top powerhouses in high school softball over the past two decades has been Immaculate Heart Academy out of Washington Township, N.J. which has won nine state titles in the last 21 years.

The Blue Eagles had another great season this year, posting a 31-2 record and although they fell short in capturing another state championship, the program did produce a 1st Team All-American in P/IF Steph Thomas who set the New Jersey career mark in wins with 113 and also earned Gatorade Player of the Year honors.
