Today we hear from a Nevada standout incoming junior and what she’s thinking after the coaching staff that recruited her resigned…

What’s your current status? “I had verballed to Texas Tech University with Head Coach Shanon Hays. Unfortunately Coach Hays resigned last month and TTU just named their new head coach, Adrian Gregory. “

“I’m very excited to have Coach Gregory watch me play and to convince her I’m a strong fit for her team. Although I still hope to attend TTU, I have opened myself up to recruiting once again.”

What did you base you commitment on? “I was extremely excited to play for TTU in the Big 12 Conference. It has always been my dream to play for a highly competitive program that challenges me to work hard and reach my full potential in hopes of catching the eye of Team USA recruiters someday!”

What is your favorite bat: “I love the Louisville Slugger Xeno! I’ve owned the 2013 and 2014 models and both had the best ‘pop’ and largest sweet spot of any bat I’ve ever used!”
