One team that’s off to a roaring start in the high school softball season is Bishop Carroll from Wichita, Kan.

Ranked No. 31 in the latest StudentSportsSoftball.com FAB 50 rankings, the Golden Eagles are shooting for their fourth Class 5A state title in a row and have jumped out to a 4-0 record outscoring opponents 69-8 in those first four games.

Bishop Carroll has four players going to college so the talent is thre for the team that went 22-2 last year.

Batting .600 on the season with three homeruns in 4 games.

— C Lauren Buchanan (2015, Colorado State)
Batting .700 on the season.

— P/UT Jessi Haffner (2014, Oklahoma State)
Batting .545 for the season and two wins in the circle. She has 4 extra base hits and a homerun.

— P Brittany Finney (2015, Oklahoma)
Batting .583 for the season. In her two wins Finney has had to only throw seven total innings with 14 Ks, 0 walks, 1 unearned run and a 0.00 ERA.

— OF Hunter Hogan (2014, Wichita State)
Batting a spectacular .917 on the season hitting in 11 of 12 at bats and scoring 11 runs.
